Emily leads the Foxtrot Gang round the block to raise almost £250

9 year old Emily Lester-Murphy gather15355679_10155489466794409_6410359782173965163_ned her friends together back in November to raise money for us at Epilepsy Lifestyle. Emily was granted an Emfit Monitor and wanted to give something back to the charity, so with her close friends ‘The Foxtrot Gang’ they decided to embark on running 5k throughout November. And with them all cheering each other on and supporting one another they absolutely smashed it and were awarded their certificates and medals in a school assembly.

To help with the fundraising Emily’s Mum, Shannon, also held a coffee morning and was wholeheartedly supported by family and friends. To add to this we’ve received a massive bag of stamps, which will convert to cash through our ‘Fundraising Stamps’ initiative. All in all the Lester-Murphys raised an amazing £240.20.

Any fundraising means the world to us but to come from one of the families we have been able to support is extra special. A huge thank you to everyone who was involved.
