Charity Expansion thanks to Hall and Woodhouse
Epilepsy Lifestyle is delighted to announce that we are expanding our services into West Sussex thanks to a fantastic £700 grant from Hall and Woodhouse.
Chairperson, Marie, and charity treasurer, Ian, were invited along to the Hall and Woodhouse Awards evening on Friday 25th September where they received their Community Chest grant cheque.
The evening was held at Hangleton Manor and 32 charities and local organisations were invited to receive a grant award. The Hall and Woodhouse Community Chest provides local help for local communities in and around Dorset and West Sussex. The grant received by Epilepsy Lifestyle is specifically to start our work in West Sussex.
Mark Woodhouse hosted the evening and the team of judges handed out the grant cheques, Marie stated that ‘the whole evening was incredibly humbling. It was an honour to be chosen as one of the charities to receive an award, especially when there are so many amazing projects taking place across Sussex. The evening really did emphasise the good work that individuals and community groups are doing to improve the lives of others and we are proud to be a part of that’.
Thanks goes to everyone at Hall and Woodhouse and all the judges who were instrumental in the entire process. We are incredibly excited to be moving into the next phase of our charity.
